Adding value by selling products under $1

Due to inflation, $1 USD is worth less every year. The founder of 99 Cents Only stores thought to themselves, Wouldn't it be great to have stores that sell everyone thing under $1. They get everyday household items from companies that want to get rid of their old inventory, or companies that want to test out new product lines. 99 Cents only stores sold over $1.1 billions of goods this year. The founders are worth millions.

Problem: $1 USD is worth less every year
Idea/Solution: Closeout items + New product testing ==> 99 cents only
